    Under supervision, this role supports out of school students, and Adtalem institutions and companies collections and payment processing administrative functions. This colleague is charged with being a role model for the organization’s TEACH values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with organization’s mission, vision, and purpose.


    • Provides administrative support to out of school student collections function (i.e. payment plans, collection/payment letters, address updates, skip tracing, etc.)
    • Ability to manage caseload and meet performance services levels.
    • Performs out of school accounts receivables reviews and adjustments including delinquency and aging reports, disputed accounts, Third Party Sponsored, and Small Balance
    • Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounting and month-end reporting.
    • Monitors and responds timely to Client Relationship Management (CRM) requests
    • Posts and reviews payment recording including cash, check and credit transactions.
    • Processes student account payments, adjustments, refunds, write-offs, etc., as directed.
    • Handles timely processing of bankruptcy claims, discharges and dismissals.
    • Collaborates with partners to manage and deliver on set expectations and to professionally address and resolve difficult customer interactions.   Understands and applies business processes and SOX controls to guard against actions that will negatively impact the business.
    • Communicates needs for process document updates
    • Identifies solutions for continuous improvement to existing processes and actively participates in the roll-out of new processes.
    • Participates in team meetings, special projects 


    Completes other duties as assigned.


    • High school diploma or equivalent required with some college preferred
    • At least 1-3 years related experience required, preferably in accounts receivable administration or accounting
    • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and cash management business systems, required
    • Experience with accounts receivable SOX controls, preferred
    • Knowledge of Title IV regulations, preferred
    • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, database and internet applications, required
    • Knowledgeable in collections regulations, laws and associated processing procedures, required
    • Excellent customer service, organizational, critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
    • Effective inter/intra-departmental verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
